Amedia designs, develops and markets broadband wireless multimedia distribution chipset that consists of a Baseband chip and a RF chip. The products are end-to-end solutions that incorporate semiconductors, software and system level reference design. Amedia’s products are based on its proprietary WiVi™ technology. With WiVi™ technology, high quality video can be transmitted anywhere in the home through walls for distances of up to 250 feet.

Amedia’s customer base includes consumer electronics companies, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), add-in-card manufacturers and system builders. Amedia’s customers can use WiVi™ chipsets to provide wireless entertainment networking with unprecedented link reliability and throughput between broadband network devices and consumer electronics products, as well as home computing platforms. Device applications include set-top boxes, satellite receivers, standard and HDTV televisions, flat panel displays, cable/ADSL modems, laptops, smart displays, DVDs, gaming consoles, and other devices.
